FirstLast Media specializes in Photography, Videography, Video Editing, and Photo Editing

FirstLast Media operates out of Lansing, MI, though this does not limit work availability to only Mid-Michigan. Generally, any client work within a 200 mile radius will be acceptable, so do not hesitate to reach out if location is a concern of yours.

The company shoots with a Sony Alpha A7 III, a full frame mirrorless camera body that shoots at 24.2 MP for still photography and beautiful 4K 30p for video. Then through our variety of high quality lenses, lighting equipment, and additional camera gear, the product will surely be gorgeous at the very least.

We offer a number of services to our clients. We can photograph any sort of event you want captured. Weddings, Social Media Advertising, Event Photography, Senior Photos, just contact us and we can sort out the details. Additionally, photography services can be enhanced in post production through color correcting, Photoshop, essentially everything extra to make your photos that much better. Alternatively, Video shooting is another specialty of ours. We believe a polished video can be the best way to display your message or company to the world. Whether it be an advertisement, something for your social media or website needs, a special day that you want brought to video, it can all be done. Included with videography work, FirstLast Media will also be responsible for editing the project to completion. This includes tasks such as color correcting, audio mastering, linear story telling, etc.

FirstLast Media was founded in 2020 by Nate Lentz

My name is Nate Lentz and I am the sole proprietor behind FirstLast Media LLC. I have a great passion for creating media, photos and videos alike, and I am thrilled to now be turning this passion into a living. My training includes 3 years at Michigan State University under their media production major. During my time I took every filmmaking course offered by the university and produced several student short films and client projects. I worked alongside clients such as The Greater Lansing Food Bank and Believe 3 Dance Company to create a showcase for their services during my time at university. Now I want this client list to grow exponentially, so that is what I’ve set out to do with FirstLast Media.

My first love in media creation was video editing, and it is still one of my strongest traits in the field. Though I also worked as a cinematographer, director, lighting technician, and audio engineer, so I have a diverse skill set in media production.

I am also fortunate enough to have a diverse set of gear that has been purchased for the purposes of this company. Through my years of training, expertise, and now an amazing set of equipment, I have the utmost confidence my clients and I can make some amazing photos and video.
